Decorating your home is also about using accessories to emphasize the visual statement you are making.

One of the best ways to emphasize the visual statement of your interior design is to use framed wall art. Framed wall art usually takes the form of framed prints that are either copies of famous works by are or are printed in limited editions.

Whether you use copies of famous works by are or limited edition prints, if you want to emphasize the statement of your interior design, it is important to make sure that the framed print or prints you use accomplish several things.

First, they need to fit right in with the interior design concept you are working on.
Second, they need to make a small statement about the space they occupy, if that is your home, then you need to like the framed print.

Third, the framed wall art or print must match the color scheme.
All of this means that choosing framed wall art for your home is not simply about seeing a pretty picture and thinking, "That's nice, I want that." No, not at all.
When you're looking for framed wall art to enhance your interior design scheme, always remember that the wrong framed artwork can ruin the entire interior design of the room it's hung in.

Always remember that art gallery walls are neutral for a reason, so they don't clash with the artwork, and then apply the reverse logic: Your chosen framed wall art or framed art must not clash with your living room design or concept, if you do, you will have some excellent artwork on your walls.

Although, of course, it is possible that you have chosen the framed wall art first and the concept of the room is built around it, that, as they say, "works" naturally.
Abstract Art - What Is It, Where Does It Come From and Why Do I Do It?
Through the use of shapes, colors and textures, abstract art creates a mood all its own. By creating a mood all its own, abstract art does not usually try to portray a specific image in the final result.

Abstract art plays entirely with the artist's emotions. Since emotions can be very clear ideas, abstract art is known to be inconsistent with normal reality. However, in a well done abstract work, the viewer can "feel" a presence in the painting. Abstract art, by its nature, is very spontaneous.

When I paint abstract art, I do my best to start with at least three different colors. These colors can be complementary or opposite. It depends on what I want the viewer to feel and experience. Do I want bright colors that are so opposite that they vibrate when you see them? For example, green and purple, yellow and blue. Or do I want colors that harmonize when you look at them and your eyes move in a soothing pattern across the canvas? There is no wrong or right way to paint abstract art, because there is no wrong or right way to feel when you paint.
- Emotions

Emotion is the most important ingredient for abstract art. What is the artist feeling? Is he angry, sad, in love, unhappy, inspired, aggressive? Mood can be greatly influenced by the habits an artist does or does not take. Artists have long been known to take external stimuli in the form of alcohol, weed, pills, etc. I don't agree with that and I don't disagree with it. Nor am I saying that every artist takes drugs. But I am saying that many great works of art have been created under the influence of alcohol and sober. So what does that mean? Emotions are the key to artistic creation, whether sad or happy, drunk or sober - no matter what state the artist is in, it will affect the outcome of the work.

- When to stop, less is more

When I paint abstract art, I feel like I want to put a subject on it, a flower, a bird, a person, a building, etc. I see a nice background and want to add something that defines an image. For most of my paintings, I combine what I feel with what I see or am inspired by. However, I think the real challenge in making a great abstract work is knowing when to stop and when to say "enough." Abstract art can be as simple as a black and white painting and have a few bold brush strokes. It can be minimalist in construction and design. The artist says more with fewer words, fewer brushstrokes can say more by using the empty space that is simply there now. When less is more in abstract art, it starts to become something else, modern wall art.
- Less is more, but sometimes more is better
When I paint abstract art, I try to challenge myself by using less. That is, how can I create a powerful piece of art by taking advantage of the empty space on the canvas? Say more by saying nothing, paint more by using the paint to accentuate the emptiness and give it form. But the opposite is also possible. How many layers can I use, I ask myself? In my mind, layers of color mean layers of feeling. So when I want to convey more, I ask myself, "How many layers can I have?" "How many layers can I build up?" "How much more color and texture can there be?" I build layers, much like a sculptor would take something away to reveal the hidden form, but I add layers to define dimensions, texture and shape. This conveys emotion.

- Abstract art - where does it come from?

All my artwork combines an aspect of the indefinable, the unknown, the abstract. I combine pop art, surrealism, modern art and abstract art to develop my individual style. Abstract art is fun. It allows me to explore the subterranean levers of my psyche. When I dump paint, work with brush strokes, and layer thick blobs of color, my mind travels. It travels to a place that can only be explained by the finished product. This allows me to release hidden layers within myself that I cannot reach without the artistic activity of painting. Abstract art is the reflection of the inner spirit.
